| Mike T. was showing his intake system consisting of a 80mm MAF, custom rubber albow: "From the Throttle body to the MAF, I have a hose that I purchased from www.jagsthatrun.com. It is a 45 degree angle hose, 3 1/2" inside diameter. It was $12 U.S. Some guys say I could have found one locally, but I could not and didn't want to spend 6 months looking. My 80mm MAF is the Lincoln Mark VIII MAF (part # F3VF-12B579-AA, AFH80-01) I then have an adapter that I bought from www.cartech.net. It costs $35 US. Josh T (www.shonut.com) also sells them. I would have bought mine from him had I known he sold them when I bought mine. One thing we noticed is that his is not quite as long as the one I have, which may have caused a problem in my setup. However, I think he was going to look into having longer ones fabricated. This then goes into the stock airbox cover." |
